Euro Area trade deficit widens in AugustThe Euro Area's trade is starting to feel the pinch of sluggish global demand and the euro's rapid appreciation. The trade deficit in seasonally adjusted terms in August widened above expectations to 1.4 billion euros from the previous 0.2 billion, beating expectations for a slimmer deficit of 0.8 billion euros.
