European stress tests signal stronger financial sector than expected as only 7 fail
The Committee of European Banking Supervisors and National Banks released the results of the stress tests carried out on Europe’s biggest banks to assess the resilience of the banking sector against economic downturns and the ability to absorb financial shocks such as the debt crisis currently the center of attention.The stress tests on the 91 biggest banks in the EU from 20 countries
